Lee Ji-eun, born May 16, 1993 is better known with her stage name IU and is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actress. She signed with Kakao M (formerly LOEN Entertainment) in 2007. IU has also actively engaged in television dramas and movie. The name IU meand I and U become one through music.
