BTS’s Jimin has won the "Best K-Pop" award at the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA), showcasing BTS's global influence once again.

On November 10 (local time), Jimin was announced as the winner of the "Best K-Pop" category at the 2024 MTV EMAs. Following Jungkook's win in the same category last year, this marks the second consecutive year that a BTS member has claimed the award. BTS previously won as a group in 2021 when the "Best K-Pop" category was first introduced.

Jimin's solo second album, MUSE, and its title track, Who, released in July, continue to rank highly on various global charts nearly four months later, likely contributing to his MTV EMA win.

MUSE and Who have remained on the U.S. Billboard's "Billboard 200" and "Hot 100" for 15 consecutive weeks and have been on the UK Official Chart for 16 weeks, reflecting their worldwide popularity. Who is also holding its position in the Top 5 on Spotify's latest "Weekly Top Songs Global" chart, ranking 4th for the week of November 1–7.

Who has brought Jimin unprecedented success as a solo artist, debuting at No. 4 on the UK Official Singles Chart (for the period of July 26–August 1) — the highest ranking for any of Jimin's solo songs. During its first week of release, Who also swept the top positions across several sub-charts, including "Single Sales," "Single Downloads," and "Physical Single Sales."

Meanwhile, BTS continues to demonstrate immense influence with their active solo projects. Jimin will present an exhibition in Los Angeles on November 29 and in Tokyo on January 10, covering his solo albums FACE and MUSE.

Jin will release his first solo album, Happy, on November 15 at 2 PM KST, showcasing his evolved musical talents through various band-based tracks, including Longing for You, a song he personally wrote. RM's documentary film, RM: Right People, Wrong Place, which provides a behind-the-scenes look at the making of his solo second album, Right Place, Wrong Person, will be released on December 5 in over 90 countries. Additionally, V will release White Christmas (with V of BTS), a duet with legendary pop artist Bing Crosby, on December 6.
