“Digital Music King” BTS Jungkook’s “Seven” + “GOLDEN”, first Asian solo artist to enter Spotify Global Charts for 111 weeks & 95 weeks



BTS’s Jungkook has once again set a new record on Spotify, proving his status as the “digital music king.”



His first solo debut single “Seven”, released in July 2023, ranked No. 69 on the world’s largest music streaming platform Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart for the week of August 22–28. “Seven” has now entered the chart for 111 consecutive weeks, extending its record as the first and longest-charting song by an Asian solo artist.



Jungkook’s solo single “3D”, released in September 2023, also ranked No. 146 on the same chart for the week of August 22–28, marking its 34th consecutive week on the chart, with Jungkook placing two solo tracks simultaneously.



His first solo album “GOLDEN”, released in November 2023, ranked No. 54 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global chart for the week of August 22–28. It extended its record as the first and longest-charting album by an Asian solo artist, remaining on the chart for 95 weeks—together with “Seven”, setting another milestone.



“Seven” also achieved historic records on Billboard’s major charts, becoming the first and longest-charting song by an Asian solo artist to enter the Global 200 (109 weeks) and Global Excl. U.S. (110 weeks).



On Spotify, “Seven” ranked No. 1 on both the main Weekly Top Songs Global and Daily Top Songs Global charts, and also topped Billboard’s main singles chart, the Hot 100. It became the first song by an Asian artist in Spotify history to surpass 2.52 billion streams. Meanwhile, “GOLDEN” surpassed 6 billion cumulative streams, the first album by an Asian solo artist to do so.



Additionally, Jungkook’s personal Spotify profile (including all credits) has reached a total of 9.5 billion cumulative streams, marking the fastest achievement for any Asian artist and the first for a K-pop soloist.
