The KingDom will be making a surprise comeback with a special album.

At midnight on the 11th, The KingDom (Dann, Arthur, Mujin, Louis, Ivan, and Jahan) announced through their official SNS that they will release a special album on September 23 at 6 p.m., alongside a “coming soon” teaser image. Unlike a regular album, this release is a gift dedicated to their fandom, Kingmaker, who have shown unwavering support for a long time.



However, there was bittersweet news. Leader Dann, who had been preparing for the album, enlisted in the military earlier than expected following guidance from the Military Manpower Administration. As a result, The KingDom will continue activities as a five-member group starting with this comeback.



Known for presenting unique stages with an “Oriental fantasy” concept for each release, The KingDom is once again expected to showcase their identity as “cinematic idols” through this special album. The teaser image, which includes the phrase “History Of Kingdom is Back,” has raised anticipation for the continuation of their signature storyline and universe.



Since their debut in 2021, The KingDom has unfolded the seven-part History Of Kingdom universe. Last year, they launched the beginning of a new Chapter 2 storyline, continuing to achieve steady success both domestically and internationally with their unrivaled concept. Notably, they became the first 4th-generation idol group to top five charts on Amazon Music U.S., and entered Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Top 10 for three consecutive releases. They were also featured in the Recording Academy’s Global Spin series, further expanding their international fandom at a rapid pace.

The KingDom’s special album will be released on September 23 at 6 p.m. through various online music platforms.
