NiziU is set to fill 2026 with dynamic activities and new projects.

On January 1, NiziU uploaded a video titled “NiziU ‘We need U 2026’: HAVE YOU 5EEN HER?” to their official SNS channels, offering intriguing hints about the wide range of projects planned for the new year. The cinematic, artistic world portrayed in the video creates a sense of subtle tension and heightens immersion, resembling a scene from a film. Symbolic elements such as the phrase “HAVE YOU 5EEN HER,” a clock pointing to 8:26, and a CD placed on the floor are strategically featured throughout, sparking curiosity by suggesting the new narrative NiziU will unfold in 2026.

Later that day, individual Instagram accounts were launched for all nine members—Mako, Rio, Maya, Riku, Ayaka, Mayuka, Rima, Miihi, and Nina. Through these accounts, the members plan to communicate more closely with fans by sharing their activities, daily lives, and their unique charms and personalities.

NiziU once again proved their “NiziU power” through a remarkable year in 2025. With their first domestic comeback, the title track “LOVE LINE (Fate Line)” from LOVE LINE topped a music show chart just nine days after release. The group also took home two trophies at ASEA 2025 in May. In addition, NiziU successfully concluded their largest-ever tour, “NiziU Live with U 2025 ‘NEW EMOTION: Face to Face,’” and achieved another major milestone in Japan, as their third full-length album New Emotion secured their fifth consecutive No. 1 on the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking.
