The Netflix original series 'Hellbound' rose to the top in the world's Netflix drama rankings just one day after its release.
 
According to Flix Patrol, a global OTT content ranking site, 'Hellbound' ranked first in the global Netflix TV show category. It took first place, beating 'Squid Game', which had been number one until the previous day.
 
By country, it took top spot in countries including Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Jamaica, Malaysia, Kuwait, Mexico, Morocco, the Philippines, Poland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Vietnam, a total of 24 countries.
 
As such, 'Hellbound’ is expected to continue the K drama craze following 'Squid Game'.
 
In particular, 'Hellbound' draws attention because it took just one day while 'Squid Game' took 8 days climbing to the top.
 
 
'Hellbound' is a Netflix series depicting the story of a supernatural phenomenon in which people are sentenced to hell by the messengers from hell who appeared without notice, and the religious organization Saejinrigyo, which was revived in this chaos, and those trying to uncover the truth of the incident.
