South Korean group aespa (under SM Entertainment) heated up the 'Coachella Stage', the main stage of the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' which is the largest outdoor music festival in the United States.
aespa participated in the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' held in Coachella Valley, a desert area in Indio, California, USA on April 24 (Korea time). They splendidly performed with 88 Rising's 'Head In The Clouds Forever' and drew the attention of local music fans with their intense performance.
The quartet who opened the door with the song 'aenergy' from the first mini-album at this concert, performed hit songs such as 'Black Mamba', 'Next Level', and 'Savage'. Also the girls sang the unreleased new song 'Life's Too Short' in English and even performed a stage specially prepared for Coachella, receiving an explosive response from the scene.
In addition, this stage was more special as it is not only the group's first live stage in the United States after their debut but also was with shouts and cheers from the audience for the first time since their debut.
"This is the first time we've performed in front of such a large audience. We are happy to be here at Coachella like this.", the group said.
Previously, aespa created a syndrome with success in three consecutive hits from the debut song 'Black Mamba' to 'Next Level' and 'Savage'. It recorded the highest ranking in the history of the girl group's first album, proving its global popularity.
Meanwhile, Coachella has been the largest festival in the United States since 1999, attracting more than 200,000 spectators every year. This year, aespa, Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Conan Gray, Pink Sweat$, and other world-class artists will appear.
