The venue for the Busan concert held by the group BTS, which has raised safety-related issues, has been changed.
Big Hit Music, the management company, announced on Weverse on the 2nd, "The concert 'BTS <Yet To Come> in BUSAN' for the 2020 Busan World Expo has been changed to the Busan Asiad Main Stadium from the previously announced Ilgwang Special Stage."
BTS was scheduled to hold a free concert to pray for the '2030 Busan World Expo' at the special stage in Ilgwang, Gijang-gun, Busan on October 15th.
In particular, this concert attracted 100,000 people, attracting attention as it is the largest among BTS' concerts in Korea.
Big Hit Music said, "BTS acted as the ambassador for the 2030 World Expo in July. As the first step, they planned a large-scale global concert. By promoting the culture of the global city of Busan and Korea with a differentiated sense of scale and stage production. We wanted to contribute to the hosting of the Busan World Expo."
However, it was pointed out that the Ilgwang area in Gijang-gun, which was selected as the first performance venue, was not suitable as a performance venue. The site is the site of the former Korea Glass Busan Factory, and problems such as poor site conditions and lack of convenient facilities and transportation were raised as problems.
