ZEROBASEONE (comprised of members Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin, Park Gunwook, and Han Yujin) set Japan ablaze with their performances at "SUMMER SONIC 2024," Japan's largest urban music festival, held on August 17 in Osaka and August 18 in Tokyo.
"SUMMER SONIC" is Japan's biggest city-based music festival, featuring world-renowned artists. Despite being only one year into their debut, ZEROBASEONE earned a spot in the festival's lineup, where they showcased a high-quality performance by rearranging all the songs in their setlist with a band sound.
Appearing on stage in outfits that highlighted each member's unique style, ZEROBASEONE kicked off their set with the lively "New Kidz on the Block," a song that reflects the ambitious drive of the nine members towards the top. They then delivered their debut track, "In Bloom," in Japanese, displaying their signature refreshing and energetic charm.
The group continued to ignite the atmosphere by performing a medley that included "Say My Name," a song from their competition days on Mnet's "Boys Planet," as well as "and I," and "Sunday RIDE." The crowd’s excitement reached its peak with these electrifying performances.
ZEROBASEONE also delivered a stage optimized for the festival, brimming with their trademark positive energy. They followed with performances of "Kidz Zone," a song about creating a world where everyone can sing and dance together, and finished with the passionate summer anthems "SWEAT" and "Feel the POP," further heating up the summer vibes.
