IU expressed some anxiety ahead of her concert in Manila, with 40,000 fans waiting for her.


On the 22nd, IU uploaded a video titled "40,000 people are waiting... I've hit a snag" on her YouTube channel.


She shared, "After rehearsal, I had a lot of discussions with our staff about the Sangam concert, then arrived at the hotel after a long flight. The (Manila) concert venue is really nice. I'm very pleased with it and had a good rehearsal."


However, she added, "Unfortunately, despite having a great venue, my condition isn't very good. It's the worst it's been since the start of this tour. When I woke up this morning, I felt like something was really wrong. I didn't think I'd be able to rehearse properly."


IU continued, "We adjusted the setup to make the songs easier to sing, so I kept the rehearsal shorter than usual. I also practiced a lot of cover songs, and it would be disappointing if I couldn't perform them well. I think it's important to stay positive, even if it's just blindly so. I hope my face doesn't swell up. I'll try to get to sleep quickly."


The next day, when she arrived at the venue, IU happily reported, "I slept much better than yesterday, and my condition has improved."
