Jaehyun of NCT, under SM Entertainment, is set to prove his versatility as an 'all-rounder performer' with his solo debut track 'Smoke.'


The title track 'Smoke' from Jaehyun's first solo album is a hip-hop R&B song that features groovy vocals and rich guitar riffs layered over a rhythmic bassline. The lyrics, which compare the romantic moments shared with a loved one in a car to smoke rising from a boombox along with the music, are particularly striking. The performance of 'Smoke' is characterized by powerful yet controlled movements that make use of bold lines, offering a mix of strength and restraint. The sophisticated choreography, combined with Jaehyun's cool and chill vibe, perfectly showcases his capabilities as an 'all-rounder performer.'


On August 22nd, NCT's YouTube channel released 'Getting Ready for the 'Jaehyun Vol.1',' which featured Jaehyun preparing for the release of his first solo album, further heightening fans' anticipation.


Jaehyun's first album, 'J,' includes a total of 8 tracks with various atmospheres, including both Korean and English versions of the title track 'Smoke,' allowing listeners to experience Jaehyun's unique musical style.
