BOYNEXTDOOR, known for their distinctive team identity, is also making waves with the trendy design of their latest album. On August 29th, BOYNEXTDOOR (members: Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak) shared videos and photos on their official social media channels, revealing the album design and components of their third mini-album, "19.99."
The album captures the thoughts and concerns of those on the brink of turning twenty, and this theme is reflected in its design. The most eye-catching version, the "weverse albums" version, is crafted in the shape of a cube net, allowing buyers to assemble it themselves. This design is inspired by a cube-shaped toy many might have played with during their teenage years. Adding to its collectible value, the album includes childhood photos of the members.
The "Clink" version features keyring cards, designed according to each of the six members' tastes, tapping into the Gen Z trend of keyring accessories, which serve as a medium to express the members' personalities.
Known as a "logo hotspot" for their consistently stylish logo designs, BOYNEXTDOOR continues to showcase unique logos in this new release. The standard edition, available in three versions—"Nice," "Dangerous," and "Twenty"—features a hidden house symbol within the team logo, adding an element of discovery for fans. The house is one of the symbols representing BOYNEXTDOOR.
Set to release on September 9th at 6 PM, the mini-album "19.99" reflects the fiery period right before turning twenty, symbolized by the incomplete number "19.99." The lyrics, written by the members themselves, resonate with the thoughts of youth standing at the threshold between their teenage years and adulthood.
