Stray Kids has become the first K-pop artist to grace the cover of Rolling Stone UK. On August 28th (local time), the prominent British music magazine unveiled the cover featuring Stray Kids on its official website and social media channels. The magazine described the group as "versatile global stars" and highlighted their significance as the first K-pop artists to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone UK.
Stray Kids released their mini-album ATE and its title track "Chk Chk Boom" on July 19th this year. The album, which embodies their confidence in dominating the global music market, debuted at No. 1 on the August 3rd edition of the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, marking their fifth consecutive album to top the chart. This achievement has further solidified their standing in the industry.
Additionally, with their title track "Rock (樂)" from the mini-album 樂-STAR (released in November last year), Stray Kids were nominated for the "Best K-pop" category at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, making it their third consecutive year to receive a nomination in this category, further proving their formidable influence.
Stray Kids also held four solo concerts as part of their new world tour, "Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE>," at the KSPO Dome (Olympic Gymnastics Arena) in Seoul's Songpa District from August 24-25 and August 31-September 1.
