The virtual idol group PLAVE has claimed the top spot on the music show Music Core with their new song "Pump Up The Volume!"


On the August 31st episode of MBC's Show! Music Core, PLAVE secured first place. The nominees for the top spot included NMIXX's "Starry Starry," Taemin's "Sexy In The Air," and PLAVE's latest track, "Pump Up The Volume!", which was released on August 20th.


What made this achievement particularly noteworthy was that PLAVE managed to clinch first place without appearing on the show. According to the revealed results, PLAVE scored 5,000 points from combined digital and physical sales, 576 points from video views and broadcast scores, 1,000 points from pre-voting, and another 1,000 points from live voting, totaling 7,576 points.


This score is 1,305 points higher than the 6,271 points they earned with their previous win on Music Core in March with the title track "WAY 4 LUV" from their second mini-album. This demonstrates their impressive growth and sustained popularity.
