Global artist Jennie is officially set to make her solo comeback in October.


According to her agency OA Entertainment (ODDATELIER) on September 9, Jennie has partnered with the major U.S. record label Columbia Records and will be returning with a solo single next month. Columbia Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment, is home to global pop stars such as Beyoncé, Adele, and Harry Styles. The label will be providing full support for Jennie's solo activities.


This upcoming solo release will be Jennie's first solo track in about a year, following her special single You & Me, which was released in October last year. Global fans, who have eagerly awaited her return, are expressing great excitement. Known for her ability to cross genres and showcase exceptional musicality, Jennie's solo comeback is highly anticipated.


Last year, Jennie collaborated with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp on the song One Of The Girls, which surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify and remained on the Billboard Hot 100 for 20 consecutive weeks. With this track, Jennie became the first Korean female solo artist to receive a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
