NCT WISH expressed their excitement after surpassing 800,000 pre-orders for their new release.
On the afternoon of the 24th, NCT WISH held a media showcase at the Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Yongsan, Seoul, to commemorate the release of their first mini-album Steady. During the event, member Xion said, "I found out through the news, and I’m still in disbelief, but we’ll work hard to meet the high expectations of our fans and show our best."
The album has achieved an impressive milestone with 800,000 pre-orders, surpassing the 630,000 pre-orders for their single "Songbird" (Korean and Japanese versions), released in July.
Leading up to the comeback, the group generated even more excitement through various promotions. Xion added, "We did a lot of fun and exciting promotions with short-form content and Reels before the album, and I’m happy that fans seemed to enjoy them. We had fun making them too."
NCT WISH's first mini-album, Steady, features a total of seven tracks, including the title track "Steady," "Dunk Shot," "3 Minutes," "On & On," "Supercute," "Skate," and the Korean version of their pre-debut song "Hands Up."
"Steady" is a dance track blending house, UK garage, and Jersey club beats with a sleek melody. It expresses the pure and honest feelings of wanting to continue an everlasting, miraculous relationship, conveyed in a youthful and energetic Gen Z style.
