The film Veteran 2 surpassed 4 million viewers on its sixth day of release.


According to the integrated computer network for movie tickets on the morning of the 18th, Veteran 2 reached a cumulative audience of 4,001,565, surpassing its break-even point of 4 million viewers. The film, which has been generating strong word-of-mouth buzz, heated up theaters during the Chuseok holiday period, and just one day after hitting 3 million viewers, it announced the milestone of 4 million viewers. 




The current box office trajectory of Veteran 2 is faster than Veteran (9 days), Confidential Assignment (9 days), The Roundup (7 days), and Spring in Seoul (12 days). Along with the 4 million milestone, a humorous celebratory video featuring Hwang Jung-min, Jung Hae-in, and Shin Seung-hwan was released. The video, inspired by the film's iconic staircase action sequence, showed the three actors briskly walking down a tall staircase, humorously reminding viewers, “Veteran 2 has reached 4 million viewers! Thank you, everyone! Watch your step on the stairs!"


Online, there has been widespread praise for the film, with comments like, "Fast-paced, well-addressed current social issues," "Great story, direction, action, and acting," "Watching the action scenes was a stress-reliever," "I enjoyed it with my family at the theater," and "Even the post-credits scene was great. Hwang Jung-min is a trusted actor, and now I trust Jung Hae-in too." Veteran 2 is an action crime investigation film in which veteran detective Seo Do-cheol (played by Hwang Jung-min) teams up with rookie detective Park Sun-woo (played by Jung Hae-in) to chase down a serial killer, shaking the entire nation in the process.
