BTS's Jungkook has once again made history on the U.S. Billboard charts with his song "Seven," setting a new record for the longest-charting song by an Asian solo artist on the Billboard Global 200. According to Billboard's latest chart update (dated September 28), Jungkook's solo single "Seven" ranked 80th on the Global 200 chart. Released in July of last year, "Seven" has now remained on the chart for an impressive 62 consecutive weeks, the longest streak for any song by an Asian solo artist.

"Seven" also ranked 45th on the Global (excluding the U.S.) chart, marking its 62nd consecutive week on this chart as well. The song's sustained presence on both major Billboard charts for over a year demonstrates Jungkook's immense global popularity. Additionally, his other solo track "Standing Next to You" entered the Global 200 chart at 170th and has been on the chart for 40 weeks. On the Global (excluding the U.S.) chart, it ranked 107th and has been on the chart for 46 weeks, showcasing Jungkook's ability to maintain a long-lasting presence on the Billboard charts with two hit songs.

Previously, both "Seven" and "Standing Next to You" achieved No. 1 on both the Global 200 and Global (excluding the U.S.) charts. "Seven" held the top spot for 9 consecutive weeks on the Global (excluding the U.S.) chart and 7 consecutive weeks on the Global 200 chart. This set a historic record as the first and longest simultaneous No. 1 by an Asian artist on both charts for 7 consecutive weeks.

Jungkook has also made Billboard history as the first-ever solo artist worldwide to achieve three or more songs topping both the Global 200 and Global (excluding the U.S.) charts in a single year.
