Stray Kids to release 2nd full-length album in Japan on November 13

The globally successful boy group Stray Kids will release their second full-length Japanese album, GIANT, on November 13. This album marks their first full-length release in Japan since THE SOUND, which came out in February last year, attracting significant attention from fans.

Since their official debut in Japan in March 2020, Stray Kids have dominated major music charts like Oricon, Tower Records, and Billboard Japan with various works, including their first EP album Social Path (feat. LiSA) / Super Bowl -Japanese ver.-, released in September 2023. They also became the first 4th-generation K-pop boy group to perform at Japan’s four major dome venues through their 5-STAR Dome Tour 2023, successfully solidifying their rising popularity in Japan. Fans are eagerly anticipating the new music and performances that Stray Kids will showcase with their upcoming release.

In July, Stray Kids released the mini-album ATE, along with the title track "Chk Chk Boom," achieving impressive success and further cementing their status as a leading group. They also made history by topping the U.S. Billboard 200 chart five times in a row with releases such as ODDINARY in March 2022, MAXIDENT in October, ★★★★★ (5-STAR) in June 2023, their mini-album 樂-STAR, and most recently, ATE. The song "Chk Chk Boom" reached No. 49 on the Billboard Hot 100, setting a new record for the group and marking their third appearance on the chart. Additionally, the music video for "Chk Chk Boom" surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, giving Stray Kids a total of 15 videos with over 100 million views—the most for any 4th-generation K-pop boy group.

Stray Kids recently kicked off their new world tour, Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE>, with concerts at KSPO Dome in Seoul on August 24-25 and August 31-September 1. On September 28, they became the first 4th-generation K-pop group to perform at Singapore’s National Stadium. The group will continue their tour with stops in Melbourne on October 19, Sydney on October 26, Kaohsiung in Taiwan on November 2, Tokyo on November 14 and 16-17, Manila on November 23, Macau on November 29-30, Osaka on December 5 and 7-8, Bangkok on December 14, Jakarta on December 21, and Hong Kong on January 18-19, 2025, meeting even more fans worldwide.

On October 6, Stray Kids will make their second appearance as performers at the American Music Awards (AMAs), becoming only the second K-pop group to do so. The AMAs are considered one of the four major music awards shows in the U.S., alongside the Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards, giving the group another platform to showcase their talents.
