The Boyz, the K-pop idol group, is set to make their highly anticipated comeback on October 28 with their 9th mini-album Do-hwa-seon (導火線), meaning "fuse."
On October 7, their agency, IST Entertainment, revealed the album cover through the group's official SNS channels, confirming the comeback. The cover features a mysterious blue headlight with the title "Do-hwa-seon" written in Chinese characters, sparking curiosity. The title track of the album will be "TRIGGER" (導火線), further heightening expectations.
This album marks The Boyz's return approximately seven months after their full-length album PHANTASY Pt.3: Love Letter was released in March. As the group consistently expands their musical spectrum with each new release, global fans are eagerly awaiting their comeback.
Previously, The Boyz achieved significant success with their PHANTASY trilogy, where they interpreted themes of romance, darkness, and youth through their unique "boyish fantasy" style. The group earned triple crowns on music shows and broke their own record for first-week album sales. Following that, The Boyz embarked on their third world tour, The Boyz World Tour: Zeneration II, visiting 15 cities worldwide and proving their status as top-tier K-pop performers both in Korea and internationally.
With their dominance in digital charts, physical album sales, award shows, and music programs, The Boyz have established themselves as a leading K-pop boy group. Now, with their new album Do-hwa-seon, they aim to showcase even greater confidence and ambition, pushing the boundaries of their limitless potential once again.
