BTS member V's solo album 'Layover' LP has proven its immense global popularity by repeatedly selling out in both the UK and the US.


On October 18, the 'Layover' LP sold out in multiple UK outlets, including the 'BTS Official UK Store', 'Record Store UK', 'Polydor', and 'The Sound of Vinyl'. The LP was officially released on the same day and quickly sold out. This marks the second time it has sold out in these outlets, the first being during pre-orders that started on August 20, which sold out on September 1.


By October 19, it had sold out in a total of nine UK stores, including 'Horizons Music', 'Hive', 'WHSmith', 'SOKOLLAB', and 'Kyyo'. In the US, V's album also achieved impressive sales, selling out in major outlets like 'Barnes & Noble' on October 18. It previously sold out in other US stores like the 'BTS USA Official Store', 'Weverse Official US Store', 'Target', 'Tower Records', and 'Elusive Disc'. Notably, Target has experienced three separate sellouts of the album.


In addition, Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy have ranked the 'Layover' LP as a bestseller in the US. In Japan, the LP sold out in just one day after pre-orders began in stores like the 'BTS Official Japan Store' and 'Universal Music Japan', and it has continued to sell out upon restock. The album also topped the Oricon Daily Album Ranking chart and Amazon Japan's Imported Album Ranking. In South Korea, the LP reached number one in the CD/LP real-time bestseller category on Yes24 and ranked as the top overall bestseller on Aladin.


V's 'Layover' LP is showcasing tremendous demand worldwide, solidifying his impact as a solo artist.
