BTS member Jimin has set a remarkable record as a K-pop solo artist on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. As of October 23, Jimin's solo songs have reached a total of 5.157 billion streams across 34 tracks in just two and a half years since his Spotify profile was created.
Notably, his pure solo tracks, without any collaborations, have surpassed 4 billion streams, making him the first and only K-pop solo artist to achieve this milestone.
Jimin's first solo album title track, "Like Crazy," which is a Korean-language song, has garnered 1.299 billion streams as of October 26 and is on the verge of reaching 1.3 billion. Additionally, his second solo album's title track, "Who," achieved 861.8 million streams in just 100 days, leading the way in streaming records for his solo songs.
"Who" has also been a major hit on Spotify's "Global Daily Top Songs" chart, ranking No. 1 for 20 days and staying within the Top 10 for 100 days, making it the most-streamed K-pop song of 2024. The song continues to chart in 48 countries worldwide. Furthermore, as of October 26, "Who" maintained its No. 1 position on the "Korean Daily Top Songs" chart for 100 consecutive days, without ever losing its top spot. Jimin has also held the No. 1 position on the "Korean Daily Top Artists" chart for an astounding 458 consecutive days, setting a new record for the longest reign by a K-pop artist.
In addition to his Spotify achievements, Jimin's "Who" ranked No. 48 on the UK's Official Singles Top 100 Chart as of October 26, marking its 14th consecutive week on the chart. This makes it the longest-charting K-pop solo song on the UK Official Singles Chart since its revision in 2014.
