BTS's Jimin continues to make history in the United States, cementing his reputation as the "K-pop Frontman" with his remarkable music success.

His solo track “Who,” from his second album MUSE, became the best-selling K-pop song in the U.S. in 2024, just 14 weeks after its release. Following his 2023 hit "Like Crazy," which was also the top-selling K-pop song in the U.S. that year, Jimin now holds back-to-back records, strengthening his role as a prominent K-pop figure.

Previously, "Like Crazy" achieved massive sales in 2023, earning Jimin a nomination at the Billboard Music Awards for Top Selling Song—the first and only Korean solo artist nominated in that category. The streaming figures for these songs are meticulously counted, excluding repetitive "infinite looping" to ensure accuracy.

On Spotify’s U.S. charts, Jimin has shown impressive streaming power, with "Who" ranking No. 1 and "Like Crazy" taking the No. 4 spot among the top-streamed K-pop songs. His popularity in the U.S. has led to the nickname "JIMERICA" (a blend of Jimin and America), reflecting his widespread influence.

Further solidifying his success, Hits Daily Double, a major U.S. music industry publication, reported that “Who” recently climbed to the No. 8 position on their hit list, stating that “K-pop giant ‘Who’ is a massive hit alongside Jimin.”

As the first K-pop soloist to top Billboard’s main Hot 100 chart with “Like Crazy,” Jimin continues to capture the U.S. music scene without any high-profile collaborations.

His hit “Who” has stayed on the Hot 100 for 15 consecutive weeks, showing his enduring popularity. As of November 4, “Who” has amassed over 172.7 million streams on the U.S. Spotify daily top songs chart within 108 days of its release, underlining his dominance in both sales and streaming.
