DAY6 Becomes First Domestic Band to Sell Out Gocheok Sky Dome: Demonstrates Incredible Ticket Power




The band DAY6 has once again proved its immense ticket-selling power, achieving a full sellout for their upcoming performances at Gocheok Sky Dome.
DAY6 will hold their solo concert, "2024 DAY6 Special Concert 'The Present,'" on December 20 and 21 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul. Pre-sales for the event, exclusively for members of their official fan club My Day 4th generation, began at 8 PM on November 19, followed by general ticket sales at 8 PM on November 20. After the general sale opened, all approximately 38,000 seats for the two shows were sold out.
This accomplishment follows their previous successes earlier in the year: a three-day concert at Seoul Jamsil Indoor Stadium in April, attended by about 34,000 fans, and another three-day event at Incheon Inspire Arena in September, attracting around 40,000 attendees. The upcoming Gocheok Sky Dome performances will set a new record for their largest audience per show, solidifying their reputation as concert powerhouses.
This concert marks a continuation of DAY6's tradition of hosting special solo concerts during the holiday season. After completing their military service in December 2023, the group reunited to hold the "Christmas Special Concert 'The Present: You Are My Day,'" expressing their gratitude to fans who waited for them. About a year later, they will close out 2024 with another special solo performance, creating meaningful memories with their audience.


DAY6 is also currently in the midst of their third world tour, "DAY6 3RD WORLD TOUR 'FOREVER YOUNG.'" The tour has seen sold-out shows in various cities, including Incheon, Kuala Lumpur, Bali, Surabaya, Jakarta, Bangkok, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and New York.
