BTS’s V Unveils Teaser for Duet with Park Hyo Shin, Showcasing Stunning Visuals


BTS member V has captivated fans with his breathtaking visuals in the teaser for the music video of his duet with renowned vocalist Park Hyo Shin, titled Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN).


The first teaser for the music video was released on November 25 at midnight (KST) via HYBE Labels' YouTube channel. Unlike typical music video teasers, this one is notably longer, running for 1 minute and 23 seconds. The teaser opens with V waking up in a monochrome bedroom, seemingly disoriented as fragmented memories—unclear whether they are dreams or reality—flash through his mind. The dreamy atmosphere is heightened as V is seen in various contrasting settings. He gently kisses a sculpture he crafted, spending serene moments alone, only to transition to a lively party scene in extravagant attire. In another sequence, he appears deep in thought, touched by the sensation of someone brushing his face, mirroring his earlier actions with the sculpture. Throughout, his ethereal visuals radiate an almost surreal glow, while the hauntingly beautiful music and seamless transitions add to the teaser’s mysterious allure.


The enchanting teaser began screening at 6 a.m. on the massive digital signage at Shinsegae Square, located on the façade of the Shinsegae Department Store’s main building. The upgraded media façade drew the attention of passersby, with many sharing photos and videos on social media, generating significant buzz. Fans worldwide have praised the teaser, calling it “cinematic,” “stunningly beautiful,” and expressing excitement to watch the full version.


The second teaser will premiere on November 27 at midnight (KST) on HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel and will also be screened at Shinsegae Square starting at 6 a.m. The full music video will be released on November 29 at 2 p.m. (KST) on the same platforms. Additionally, on November 30 at 2 p.m., a special Official MV (Cinematic Still Ver.) featuring V and Park Hyo Shin will offer fans a different perspective on the song.


Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN) is a jazz-pop track perfectly suited for the holiday season. The song’s melody was co-created by V and Park Hyo Shin, while its lyrics, penned by Jesse Harris, the songwriter behind Norah Jones' Don't Know Why, convey warmth and comfort. Fans can look forward to a heartwarming duet that combines the unique charms of both artists.
