BTS's Jimin Tops Star Ranking Male Idol Chart with 195 Days Until Military Discharge


Jimin of BTS has claimed the top spot in the Star Ranking Male Idol category.


In the voting conducted from November 21 at 3:01 PM to November 28 at 3:00 PM for the 161st Star Ranking Male Idol poll (4th week of November), Jimin secured first place, surpassing 2PM's Junho and BTS's Jin. Jimin, who enlisted in the army as an active-duty soldier on December 12 last year, is set to be discharged on June 11, 2024.


Jimin garnered 36,474 votes, followed by Junho in second place with 15,360 votes and Jin in third place with 6,914 votes.


Star Ranking allows fans to directly vote for their favorite stars, determining their ranking. Based on the results, stars receive various perks, including outdoor billboard advertisements for stars who achieve first place for four consecutive weeks.
