NCT 127 to Dominate Year-End Stages, Showcasing 'God of Performance' Status
NCT 127 is set to take over 2024 year-end stages, shining brightly as the ultimate "God of Performance."
The group will kick off their year-end festivities with KBS's Gayo Daechukje on December 20, followed by SBS's Gayo Daejeon on December 25, the 9th Asia Artist Awards (AAA 2024) on December 27, and MBC's Gayo Daejejeon on December 31. These performances will highlight the major year-end celebrations of 2024. Notably, NCT 127 will reconnect with fans in Bangkok at AAA 2024 after a year-long hiatus, raising anticipation for their reimagined performances of their hits like "Hero," "2 Baddies," and "Fact Check" (referred to as the "Youngjilpack"), along with their latest tracks. Their stage is expected to electrify the awards show.
Last year, NCT 127 delivered iconic stages with creative concepts: an intro and dance break remix of "Fact Check" at KBS's Gayo Daechukje, a traditional Korean instrumental arrangement at SBS's Gayo Daejeon that wowed global fans, and a powerful rock band arrangement at MBC's Gayo Daejejeon. With their exceptional stage planning and overwhelming talent, they dominated the year-end season, leaving fans eager to see what special stages they will unveil this year.
In 2024, NCT 127 released their 6th studio album, seamlessly blending old-school hip-hop with their signature neo and trendy style, sparking the "Squeaky" craze in the music scene. The album was named one of Billboard's "Best K-pop Albums of 2024" and earned critical acclaim from major outlets such as Rolling Stone, Grammy.com, Consequence of Sound, and UPI, further proving the group's unique musical identity.
Meanwhile, NCT 127 will kick off their fourth world tour, NEO CITY – THE MOMENTUM, on January 18-19, 2025, at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
