Kyuhyun Opens Asia Tour in Seoul with a Vibrant Performance: Ballads, Dance, and Musicals Combined
Singer Kyuhyun kicked off his Asia tour with a spectacular series of performances in Seoul, painting the stage with his unique "colors."
From December 20 to 22, Kyuhyun held his solo debut 10th-anniversary Asia tour concert, KYUHYUN 10th Anniversary Asia Tour ‘COLORS’ in Seoul at Olympic Hall in Seoul's Olympic Park. The tour, named after his first full-length album COLORS, saw all tickets for the three Seoul performances sell out immediately upon release, demonstrating Kyuhyun's formidable ticket-selling power.
Opening the show with Restart, released in January, Kyuhyun captivated the audience with tracks like Together, Journey, Time with You, and Last Poem, effortlessly blending refreshing energy with a warm atmosphere. He also performed a medley of drama OSTs, followed by a theatrical-like rendition of Nights Without You, receiving enthusiastic applause.
Given the year-end timing, Kyuhyun added a festive touch with carols like It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas and Last Christmas. He further delighted fans by personally visiting the second and third-floor seats for a special fan service.
On the upbeat track Bring It On, Kyuhyun showcased his dance and rap skills, followed by live performances of Super Junior medleys, igniting the concert venue with energy. Fans also enjoyed a special Ballad Best 5 segment, featuring songs chosen through pre-concert voting, highlighting Kyuhyun’s vocal versatility.
With this Seoul concert, Kyuhyun presented a colorful and multifaceted performance, akin to a vibrant color palette, marking a memorable start to his Asia tour.
