DAY6 Makes History: First K-pop Band to Perform at Gocheok Sky Dome


Boy band DAY6 lit up the winter of 2024 with their historic performance as the first K-pop band to headline at Gocheok Sky Dome, one of South Korea’s largest indoor venues.


DAY6 held their solo concert, 2024 DAY6 Special Concert 'The Present', on December 20 and 21 in Seoul’s Guro District. This marked their return to the "special concert" series after about a year, following their DAY6 Christmas Special Concert 'The Present: You Are My Day' in December 2023. 


The announcement of the concert thrilled fans, adding excitement to their year-end festivities.


The event drew immense attention as DAY6 became the first K-pop band to perform at Gocheok Sky Dome, a venue recognized for its massive scale and prestige. All 38,000 seats across the two-day concert were sold out, showcasing the band’s immense popularity and impact. The grand finale on December 21 also included a simultaneous live broadcast through the Beyond LIVE platform, allowing fans worldwide to join the experience online.


With their record-breaking performance, DAY6 continues to push boundaries and solidify their place as trailblazers in the K-pop band scene.
