Hyun Bin's 'Harbin' Surpasses 3 Million Viewers in 9 Days Since Release – Faster Pace Than 'Spring in Seoul' [Official]
The film Harbin (directed by Woo Min-ho) has surpassed 3 million viewers just 9 days after its release.
According to the integrated computer network for movie ticket sales on January 1, Harbin recorded a cumulative audience of 3 million. The movie, which premiered on December 24, reached 1 million viewers on its second day, 2 million on its fifth day, and now 3 million by its ninth day.
This progression surpasses the pace of the 13-million-hit movie Spring in Seoul, which reached 3 million viewers on its 10th day. If 2023 belonged to Spring in Seoul, 2024 and beyond seem set for Harbin to continue its parallel success story. Harbin's momentum is also evident as it has held the number one spot in ticket reservation rates for 18 consecutive days.
On the same day, a special poster for Harbin was unveiled. The poster features the dedicated performances of the cast, showcasing characters such as Ahn Jung-geun (Hyun Bin), Park Jung-min (Woo Deok-soon), Kim Sang-hyun (Jo Woo-jin), Gong Bo-in (Jeon Yeo-bin), Mori Tatsuo (Park Hoon), Choi Jae-hyung (Yoo Jae-myung), Lee Chang-seop (Lee Dong-wook), and Ito Hirobumi (Lily Franky).
Harbin is set in 1909 and portrays the gripping pursuit and suspicion between those heading to Harbin for a singular mission and those chasing them. The film is currently playing in theaters to critical acclaim.
