IVE is set to captivate K-pop fans once again with their new song "Rebel Heart," which premieres today (January 13).


According to their agency, Starship Entertainment, IVE (members An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo) will pre-release the title track "Rebel Heart" from their third EP album, IVE EMPATHY, across various online music platforms. "Rebel Heart" portrays a story of unity among "rebels" with diverse narratives. The song features rich vocals, an exhilarating chorus, and a blend of tender strings with up-tempo drum beats, creating a dynamic and full-bodied sound.


Having established their unique identity around themes of "self-love" through previous works, IVE continues to explore the subject of "self" in "Rebel Heart." However, this time, they offer a more mature perspective, singing about camaraderie and extending warmth and empathy. The song also showcases a new style derived from IVE's characteristic "self-assurance."


Ahead of the pre-release, IVE heightened the anticipation by dropping a teaser video for "Rebel Heart" on their official YouTube channel on January 12. The teaser begins with soft piano melodies and features the members in various striking appearances, such as sporting purple hair and donning unique outfits.


As the teaser progresses, the powerful string sound kicks in, accompanied by the melody of "Rebels in our heart." The video concludes with IVE smiling blissfully while gazing at floating feathers, leaving a lasting impression. The teaser's artistic visuals and the harmonious blend of the members' voices have sparked worldwide interest in the full track and music video.


Meanwhile, IVE will officially release "Rebel Heart," the pre-release title track of their third EP album IVE EMPATHY, today at 6 PM KST on various online music platforms.
