SM's DearALICE Makes Their Music Show Debut on 'M Countdown' Today (16th)


SM Entertainment and Kakao Entertainment's first UK boy group, DearALICE, is set to debut their single on a domestic music show. DearALICE will appear on Mnet's M Countdown on January 16th, performing their debut track Ariana ahead of its official global release in February. They are expected to deliver an energetic and captivating stage filled with addictive music and dynamic performances.


The song Ariana is an electro-pop dance track that conveys the complex emotions of love for an unattainable woman. The track deepens the meaning behind the group’s name, DearALICE, which stands for "A Love I Can't Explain."


This highly anticipated track was produced by Siba, a renowned producer who has worked with artists like Rita Ora, Ed Sheeran, and Major Lazer. This collaboration has significantly raised the song’s quality, garnering attention from global music fans.


Prior to this, DearALICE unveiled the performance of Ariana for the first time at the SMTOWN LIVE 2025 [THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE] in SEOUL concert held on January 11-12 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. Their stage captivated the audience, leaving a lasting impression.

In November 2024, SM Entertainment and Kakao Entertainment’s North American joint venture formed a strategic partnership with U.S. music label gamma. to support DearALICE’s global debut and activities. Their debut single Ariana is set for its official release in February.
