NMIXX Embarks on a Busy Global Journey in 2025, Kicking Off with First Solo Fan Concert in Japan
NMIXX is setting the stage for an impressive global presence in 2025.
On January 11th and 12th, the group held their second fan concert, NMIXX 2ND FAN CONCERT 'NMIXX CHANGE UP: MIXX LAB', at LaLa Arena Tokyo Bay in Japan. This marked NMIXX’s first solo concert in Japan, making the event all the more significant. The overwhelming support from local fans was evident as tickets for both days sold out, and a total of over 21,300 attendees were treated to stellar performances.


Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin opened the concert with a dazzling performance of Run For Roses, followed by high-energy renditions of fan-favorite tracks like Sonar (Breaker), Young, Dumb, Stupid, DASH, and 별별별 (See that?). They also delighted fans with a cover of Japanese singer-songwriter Aimyon’s Marigold, eliciting cheers from the crowd. The concert featured interactive game segments, adding an extra layer of fun for attendees.


The members shared their heartfelt gratitude, saying, "We’re so happy to start the year with NSWERs (fandom name). It already feels like one of our New Year’s wishes has come true, and thanks to your support, we feel like we can do anything. Thank you!"


NMIXX is set to continue their fan concert tour in Latin America in February, further expanding their global reach. Stops include Mexico City on February 19th and 20th, Santiago on the 22nd and 23rd, and São Paulo on the 28th. These performances are expected to solidify their position as the "hexagon group" of K-pop.


Notably, NMIXX made history last October by becoming the first K-pop artists to attend Billboard Latin Music Week as panelists. They also gained recognition through their Tiny Desk Korea performance, uploaded to NPR Music’s main YouTube channel, making them the first K-pop girl group featured on the platform. With these achievements, NMIXX continues to shine on the global stage.
