G-Dragon Spreads Positive Influence by Participating in France's 'Yellow Coins Charity Event'


Singer G-Dragon will take part in France's "Yellow Coins Charity Event" to support a meaningful cause.
According to his agency, Galaxy Corporation, G-Dragon was invited by France's First Lady and hospital foundation chairwoman, Brigitte Macron, to perform at the "Yellow Coins Charity Event" on January 23 (local time) at La Défense Arena in Paris. The event, organized by the "Operation Pièces Jaunes" charity foundation, aims to raise funds for building children's hospitals and supporting youth mental health care. G-Dragon will participate as a representative K-pop artist, furthering his positive influence on the global stage.


The event holds special significance as it will take place in France, a country deeply connected to G-Dragon. Having been appointed as a global ambassador for Chanel by legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld nearly a decade ago, G-Dragon has played a pivotal role in fostering cultural and fashion exchanges between Korea and France.


Moreover, this performance is eagerly anticipated by European fans who have been waiting to see G-Dragon's live stage. Reflecting this excitement, all 35,000 tickets for the event sold out within 10 minutes of opening, showcasing the massive interest in his performance.
