KickFlip: "JYP Park Jin-young Praised Us Highly," Hinting at a New K-pop Trend [Star On-Site]


Boy group KickFlip (Gyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minjae, Keiju, Donghyun) shared their excitement about receiving strong support from JYP Entertainment founder Park Jin-young.


On January 20, KickFlip held a showcase at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their first mini-album, "Flip It, Kick It!" During the event, Gyehoon remarked, "While preparing for our debut, Park Jin-young PD-nim gave us incredibly high praise. He said, 'You’ve got a song that could set a trend in K-pop groups,' and it was such an honor to hear that. We’ll continue to work hard to show him our best."


Earlier, on January 15, KickFlip surpassed 300,000 pre-orders for "Flip It, Kick It!" Reflecting on this achievement, Donghwa said, "We were just grateful to be able to release an album. But when we heard about breaking the 300,000 mark, we thought, 'We need to work even harder and show an even cooler side of ourselves.' We never expected such immense attention. We’ll keep doing our best, so please look forward to what we bring next."
KickFlip’s debut mini-album "Flip It, Kick It!" is set to be released on various online music platforms on January 20 at 6 PM.
