Green Light for February Comeback! ZEROBASEONE's 'Doctor! Doctor!' Tops Bugs Chart


Idol group ZEROBASEONE has successfully kicked off their comeback with a mysterious ode to love.


ZEROBASEONE—comprising members Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin, Park Gunwook, and Han Yujin—pre-released the track "Doctor! Doctor!" from their fifth mini album on January 20. The song quickly climbed to the top of the Bugs real-time chart immediately upon release. It also entered Melon's TOP100 and HOT100 charts simultaneously, ranked in the Top 10 of iTunes Top Songs charts in 11 countries, and secured the 19th spot on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart.


"Doctor! Doctor!" is a captivating R&B ballad with an addictive melody complemented by the members' soothing vocals. The lyrics compare the overwhelming emotions of a deep, first love to a feverish illness, portraying a desperate yearning as though one cannot live without love.


Through this pre-release track, ZEROBASEONE has showcased a new side of their musical growth, diverging from their previous intense choreography-heavy title tracks. The song effectively conveys the message that "love is the only force capable of healing all serious struggles" while playfully depicting a mysterious journey of being addicted to love and finding solace in it.
The music video for "Doctor! Doctor!"—featuring actor Jung Kyungho as a doctor—drew immense attention even before its release. Upon its debut, it quickly entered YouTube's "Trending Music" category. Jung Kyungho's appearance added narrative depth to the video, which portrays the nine members each suffering from different symptoms of a lovesick heart. As they confront their emotions and receive "prescriptions," they gradually become one another's healers. In the end, they resolve to cherish their lives more deeply, finding healing through the mysterious power of love.


"Doctor! Doctor!" serves as a pre-release to ZEROBASEONE's fifth mini album, set to drop on February 24. Even before their full comeback, hashtags like #ZB1_DoctorDoctor have trended on X (formerly Twitter), reflecting the immense anticipation and enthusiasm of fans worldwide.
