ITZY’s Yeji to Make Solo Debut with ‘Air’… Participates in Songwriting, Raising Expectations
Yeji is set to showcase her all-around talents as a solo artist with her upcoming album AIR.
On March 10, Yeji will release her first solo album AIR, marking her official debut as a solo artist. JYP Entertainment heightened anticipation by unveiling the album’s tracklist through their official social media channels at midnight on February 14.
According to the tracklist, the album features a total of four songs: the title track Air, along with Invasion, Can't Slow Me, No, and 258. Notably, Yeji participated in writing the lyrics for Air, adding a personal touch to her debut. The album’s quality has been further enhanced with the involvement of J.Y. Park, a renowned K-pop producer, in the title track’s production.
The album also boasts contributions from a star-studded lineup of songwriters, including danke—who has worked with top artists like IU and TWICE—along with hitmakers Lee Woo-min "collapsedone," Noday, and Ryan Jhun. Their participation promises a diverse and captivating musical experience.
As a standout performer known for her commanding stage presence and expressive artistry, Yeji has garnered immense support from K-pop fans worldwide. With AIR, she is expected to captivate global audiences and establish herself as a powerful solo artist.
Meanwhile, ITZY’s first solo debut project featuring Yeji’s album AIR and its title track Air will be available on various music streaming platforms on March 10 at 6 PM KST.
