'MZ Wannabe Icons' IVE to Headline 'Lollapalooza Berlin & Paris' in July


IVE (members An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo) is set to take the stage as a headliner at the upcoming Lollapalooza Berlin in July.


According to an official announcement made on the festival’s social media accounts on the 19th (local time), IVE will be performing at the world-renowned music festival Lollapalooza Berlin, scheduled to take place on July 12–13 at the Olympiastadion & Olympiapark Berlin in Germany. The lineup, which includes global stars such as Justin Timberlake, Gracie Abrams, and BTS's J-Hope, confirms IVE as one of the headliners, further cementing their position as a leading K-pop act.


Lollapalooza, which originated in Chicago in 1991, is a large-scale music festival held in various locations worldwide, including the U.S., France, Chile, and Brazil. The Lollapalooza Berlin event is set to take place in a massive venue with an estimated capacity of 74,000 attendees.
This is not IVE’s first time gracing the Lollapalooza stage. Last August, they became the only K-pop girl group invited to Lollapalooza Chicago, where they performed an electrifying 45-minute set featuring 11 songs, accompanied by a live band. Despite it being their festival debut, the group delivered a flawless performance, captivating the audience with their live vocals and high-energy stage presence. Major international media outlets such as Rolling Stone, Chicago Sun-Times, and Billboard lauded IVE for their impressive performance, dubbing them a "rising global festival powerhouse."


Building on this momentum, IVE had already announced their participation in Lollapalooza Paris, set for July 20. Their inclusion in both Lollapalooza Paris and Lollapalooza Berlin marks their third appearance at the prestigious festival, making them the only K-pop girl group to be invited three times.


Recently, IVE successfully wrapped up promotions for their third mini-album, IVE EMPATHY, further solidifying their domestic and international popularity. The album charted on Billboard’s World Albums chart, while the pre-release track REBEL HEART secured a spot on the Global 200 and Global (Excluding U.S.) charts for four consecutive weeks. Additionally, the title track ATTITUDE ranked within the Top 10 of Spotify’s Top Songs Debut Global chart, achieving remarkable success worldwide.


With their latest mega-hit tracks added to their repertoire, anticipation is building for IVE’s Lollapalooza performances in Berlin and Paris this July.


Meanwhile, IVE’s IVE EMPATHY album, released on the 3rd, achieved a Perfect All-Kill (PAK) on domestic music charts with REBEL HEART, marking yet another wave of the "IVE syndrome." The group also secured their fifth consecutive million-seller album and won 12 music show trophies, reinforcing their status as one of the top K-pop acts of their generation.
