Virtual idol group PLAVE has proven its global influence by successfully entering Billboard’s Global 200 chart.

According to an announcement by the U.S. music media outlet Billboard on February 19, the title track Dash from PLAVE's third mini-album Caligo Pt.1, released on February 3, debuted at No. 195 on the Billboard Global 200 chart. This chart ranks songs based on online streaming and digital sales data from over 200 regions worldwide, including the United States. PLAVE made history as the first-ever virtual idol group to enter the chart.

Following its release, the song quickly climbed to the top of domestic music streaming platform Melon and saw PLAVE’s monthly listeners on Spotify double within just two weeks. This enthusiastic response further solidified the group's growing global impact and potential beyond South Korea.

Since their comeback, PLAVE has been achieving remarkable success across digital streaming, physical album sales, and music shows, making waves in both the K-pop industry and the virtual idol scene. With their third mini-album promotions, the group continues to showcase an expanded musical spectrum and deeper emotional resonance, heightening anticipation for their future endeavors.

Caligo Pt.1 marks PLAVE’s first release in over five months since their digital single Pump Up The Volume!. The group members actively participated in songwriting, composing, choreography, and production, demonstrating their status as a self-producing idol group. On the day of its release, all five tracks from the album—Dash, RIZZ, Chroma Drift, 12:32 (A to T), and Island—swept the top five spots on domestic music charts, further cementing PLAVE’s growing influence in the industry.
