BTS Jimin’s 'Who' Stays on Billboard Hot 100 for 29 Weeks, Showcasing Global Solo Power
BTS’s Jimin continues to shine as a leading K-pop artist with an impressive long-run on Billboard’s main chart.
According to the latest Billboard chart update (dated February 22), Jimin’s second solo album MUSE’s title track Who secured the 40th spot on the Billboard Hot 100. With this, Who has now spent 29 consecutive weeks on the chart, making it the third longest-charting K-pop song in history, following BTS’s Dynamite (32 weeks) and PSY’s Gangnam Style (31 weeks). This achievement brings Who closer to breaking the all-time record for the longest K-pop charting song.
MUSE, the album featuring Who, also continues its historic run on the Billboard 200 chart, ranking at No. 132 for its 30th consecutive week. This makes it the longest-charting K-pop solo album of all time and the only K-pop album released in 2024 to reach this milestone.
Jimin is also dominating several Billboard sub-charts. He holds the record as the only Korean solo artist to have topped the Billboard Artist 100 chart, where he has now spent a total of 37 weeks—setting yet another record for the longest-charting Korean soloist. He maintains both the highest peak and longest duration for a Korean soloist on this chart.
Additionally, Who ranked No. 26 on the Global 200 and Global (Excluding U.S.) charts, while securing the 28th spot on the Streaming Songs chart. Meanwhile, MUSE claimed the No. 2 position on the World Albums chart, marking 30 consecutive weeks in the Top 10—a first for any K-pop solo album. These achievements further solidify Jimin’s status as a global music powerhouse.
