BTS’s Jimin Sets Historic Record as First K-Pop Soloist to Chart on U.S. Spotify Artist Chart for 250 Days

BTS’s Jimin continues to shine as the "K-pop Frontman" in the U.S. music scene.

As of February 22, Jimin has spent an impressive 250 days on Spotify’s U.S. Daily Top Artist Chart, making him the first and only K-pop solo artist to achieve this milestone. His song Who, released in July last year, has been a driving force behind his popularity in the U.S. The track recently climbed five spots to No. 12 on Spotify’s U.S. Weekly Top Songs Chart, marking its 31st consecutive week on the chart.

Jimin holds the record for the longest-charting K-pop solo song on Spotify’s U.S. Weekly Top Songs Chart with Like Crazy (38 weeks), followed closely by Who (31 weeks). Additionally, Who has spent 18 weeks in the Top 10, setting the record for the longest Top 10 presence by a K-pop song.

Jimin’s second album MUSE, which includes Who, is also making history. It has remained on Spotify’s U.S. Weekly Top Albums Chart for 31 weeks, making it the longest-charting K-pop solo album in history. It is also the first and only K-pop solo album to spend nine weeks in the Top 15.
