BTS Dominates Spotify Charts with Solo Tracks—Half of the Top 10 Most-Streamed Songs in Late 2024
BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) has taken over Spotify charts with their solo tracks.
On February 25, the world’s largest music streaming platform, Spotify, released its 2024 Global Impact List, highlighting the most-streamed Korean songs overseas in the second half of 2024. Remarkably, five out of the top 10 songs on this list are by BTS members, with BTS solo tracks making up one-third of the Top 30, once again proving their immense influence. This chart is based on data collected from July to December 2024, reflecting the most-played songs by Korean artists among Spotify users outside of South Korea.
Jimin’s solo album MUSE claimed the top spot with its title track Who, making it the biggest hit of the latter half of 2024. In addition, five songs from MUSE entered the rankings, including Be Mine, which secured the 5th position. Jin’s first solo album Happy, released in November 2023, also performed strongly, with its title track Running Wild ranking 6th and pre-release track I'll Be There taking 8th place. Additionally, Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN), a collaboration between V and Park Hyo Shin, landed at No. 9.
Other BTS solo tracks also made the list, including Jimin’s Slow Dance (feat. Sofia Carson) (19th), Rebirth (Intro) (22nd), and Interlude: Showtime (28th). Jin’s viral hit Super Tuna, officially released as a digital track in October 2022, secured the 23rd spot, while V’s duet with Bing Crosby, White Christmas (with V of BTS), ranked 26th.
