Big Ocean, the world's first deaf idol group, successfully wrapped up their first solo concert in Japan.



On the 9th, Big Ocean (Chanyeon, Hyunjin, and Jiseok) held their first solo concert, Follow, at Toyota Civic Cultural Hall in Nagoya, Japan, creating unforgettable memories with their fans. Despite not having officially debuted in Japan, the venue was packed, proving Big Ocean’s growing popularity. The group performed their signature songs along with special stages prepared exclusively for this concert, providing a rich and diverse experience for fans.



Kicking off with BLOW, they energized the audience with performances of brighT and Glow. Hyunjin’s soothing piano performance was followed by a playful "aegyo battle" between Jiseok and Chanyeon, which drew enthusiastic responses from the crowd.



The group also delivered heartfelt performances of their rendition of the Goblin OST Stay With Me and FLOW. Notably, during FLOW, both Big Ocean and their fans participated in a synchronized sign language cheer, creating a breathtaking scene.



"This is our first time introducing a sign language cheer, and we believe it is a one-of-a-kind cheering method unique to Big Ocean," the group shared. "Seeing our fans—our Wave—cheering in unison through sign language from the stage looked like a beautifully synchronized dance. It was a truly unifying and touching experience. We are deeply grateful."

During the Ask Big Ocean segment, the group answered pre-submitted questions from fans, fostering meaningful interactions with the audience. They also performed BTS’s Dynamite and H.O.T.’s Candy, delighting fans by personally handing out candy during the performance.



Closing the concert with sign language versions of SLOW and GLOW, Big Ocean expressed their heartfelt appreciation: "Thank you to all the fans who traveled from different countries to see us. We promise to continue bringing our best performances in the future."
