The movie 'Steel Rain 2' is a work that depicts a crisis situation just before the war after three leaders were kidnapped by a North Korean nuclear submarine during Inter-Korea and America summit.
Jung Woo-sung played the North's most important agent, Um Cheol-woo in the previous movie. This time, the position is changed and he plays South Korean President Han Kyung-jae. He is responsible for leading the peace agreement between North Korea and the United States and protecting the peace on the Korean Peninsula. He is also the country's top leader, but an ordinary dad who tries to steal his daughter's pocket money.
Jung Woo-sung said, "I thought 'Steel Rain 2' has a smart plot. In a way, if 'Steel Rain 1' came out, it would have remained a fantastic story by focusing on two unfortunate characters living on a peninsula. But, when I received 'Steel Rain 2' scenario, I felt this can work out in this way."
