The group Stray Kids is set to release their third Japanese mini album, 'Hollow'.
According to their agency, JYP Entertainment, on April 16th, Stray Kids will release 'Hollow' on June 18th. This marks Stray Kids' first Japanese mini album in approximately three years, following their second Japanese mini album 'CIRCUS' released in June 2022.
The teaser image released alongside the announcement features a transparent bead held in hand, creating a sensitive and mysterious atmosphere, raising expectations for the new look Stray Kids will present with this album.
The group celebrated their 5th anniversary of their Japanese debut on March 18th. Since their official Japanese debut in March 2020, they have topped major Japanese music charts such as Oricon, Tower Records, and Billboard Japan with various releases. In November and December of last year, they performed a total of six shows at the Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome Osaka as part of their world tour 'Stray Kids World Tour 'dominATE'', attracting over 315,000 spectators, demonstrating their continued success and immense popularity in Japan.
Recently, their second Japanese single 'Scars / 소리꾼 Japanese ver.' released in October 2021 achieved a cumulative shipment of 250,000 copies as of March 2025, earning them a Gold Disc Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. Following their second Japanese full-length album 'GIANT' released in November 2024, which surpassed 500,000 copies in cumulative shipments and earned them a Double Platinum certification, Stray Kids has added another significant achievement to their record.
Furthermore, the new song 'ReawakeR (feat. Felix of Stray Kids)' by popular Japanese artist LiSA, featuring Felix, has also continued its success since its official release in March. It topped the US Billboard 'World Digital Song Sales' chart on March 8th, remained at the top of Billboard Japan's 'Global Japan Songs excluding Japan' chart for six consecutive weeks, and topped the regional charts in a total of seven regions, including Germany, the UK, and Malaysia, as of April 10th.
