"An Honor to Perform with STAY" Stray Kids Conclude Mexico City Shows, Wrapping Up First Latin America Stadium Tour with 115,000 Fans
The group Stray Kids successfully held two solo concerts in Mexico City, marking the grand finale of their first Latin America stadium tour.
Stray Kids has been continuing their stadium tour as part of their world tour 'Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE>' since late March, visiting 22 regions including Latin America, Japan, North America, and Europe. They held solo performances in Santiago from March 27th-28th, Rio de Janeiro on April 1st, São Paulo from April 5th-6th, and Lima on April 9th, culminating in the fiery continuation of the tour in Mexico City on April 12th-13th. Stray Kids held their first-ever solo concerts in Mexico City at 'Estadio GNP Seguros,' a massive outdoor stadium and concert venue, showcasing their immense global popularity. Originally scheduled for a single performance on April 12th, tickets sold out immediately, prompting JYP Entertainment to add a second show on April 13th in response to the enthusiastic support from local fans. A total of approximately 115,000 fans attended the two shows, joining Stray Kids for the final leg of their Latin America stadium tour.
Wrapping up the performances, the eight members expressed, "It was an honor to perform with STAY (fandom name) at such a large stadium. We felt like STAY was embracing us. We are proud to have successfully completed the Latin America tour, ending in the passionate Mexico City. We are so grateful to receive so much love from the other side of the world and we definitely want to return. Thank you for making the name Stray Kids something to be proud of. We will never forget this."
Stray Kids demonstrated their impressive audience mobilization capabilities by attracting approximately 400,000 fans across 8 stadium performances in 5 Latin American cities. Their stadium tour will resume on May 10th-11th and 17th-18th at Shizuoka Stadium Ecopa, and this tour, consisting of 55 performances across 34 regions worldwide, is set to be their “largest-scale tour to date,” bringing them together with a total of 2.2 million fans and establishing a new record for “the highest number of attendees for a K-pop tour.”
