Stray Kids illuminated the New York night sky with a successful solo concert at Citi Field and a lighting ceremony at the Empire State Building.
Stray Kids held their solo concert as part of their world tour ‘Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE>’ for two nights on June 18th and 19th (local time) at Citi Field in New York. Having hosted global musicians such as Paul McCartney, Beyonce, and Lady Gaga, Citi Field saw Stray Kids perform two solo concerts, demonstrating the group’s rising status. The concert kicked off powerfully with the opening track ‘MOUNTAINS’ from their mini album ‘ATE,’ followed by a parade of the group’s representative songs including ‘SoriKKun,’ ‘Back Door,’ ‘Chk Chk Boom,’ ‘神메뉴’ (God’s Menu), ‘특’ (Special), and ‘MANIAC.’
They also performed unit songs from their digital single ‘Mixtape : dominATE,’ presenting a rich setlist of over 30 songs that ignited the venue. The solid live performance accompanied by vibrant band sounds and captivating performances filled the audience with excitement and cheers. After finishing the concert amidst enthusiastic shouts, the eight members expressed their gratitude, saying, “Thank you for making this moment so special. This year will be a memorable one for both us and STAY, so please look forward to it,” raising anticipation for their future activities.
Stray Kids, who are garnering worldwide attention from major media outlets and fans alike with their ‘largest-scale tour to date,’ previously drew attention by participating in the lighting ceremony at the Empire State Building, a landmark in New York, on June 16th. They participated in the lighting ceremony, which highlighted the healing energy of music, and illuminated the Empire State Building with the group’s representative color, red. Stray Kids shared, “We are grateful and honored to have the opportunity to light up the Empire State Building. Music is a universal language used by everyone, everywhere in the world, and delivering our music to those who need strength is the most important thing to us.”
Their North American stadium tour, which consists of 13 shows in 10 cities including Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Arlington, Atlanta, Orlando, New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, and Toronto, will continue on June 23rd at Nationals Park in Washington D.C. Following this, their world tour '<dominATE>' will continue in Europe with large-scale stadium performances in cities including Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Paris, and Rome.
