Group TWS is gaining momentum on popular Japanese music shows as they count down to their official debut in July.
According to Pledis Entertainment on June 24th, TWS (Shinwoo, Dohun, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin) will appear on the popular Japanese music program TBS ‘CDTV Live! Live!’ on June 30th. On this day, the members will perform their Japanese debut title track ‘Nice to see you again’ for the first time.
TWS has also been added to the lineup for Nippon TV’s summer special music show ‘THE MUSIC DAY 2025’ on July 5th. ‘THE MUSIC DAY 2025’ is a large-scale music show featuring over 50 popular artists and broadcasting live for 8 hours. In addition, TWS is scheduled for numerous other broadcast appearances, aiming to firmly establish their presence with the Japanese public.
Beyond broadcasts, TWS will also be expanding their reach to local fans through various festivals and sporting events. They will participate in the music festival ‘The MusiQuest 2025’ held at the Tokyo National Yoyogi Gymnasium First Gymnasium in July and the largest music festival in Japan, ‘ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025,’ held at Chiba Soga Sports Park in September. On June 29th, they will throw the first pitch at a home game of the Chiba Lotte Marines (against the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks) and perform a special stage.
Their first solo performances in Japan are also on the horizon. Following the successful conclusion of their first concerts in Korea from June 20th to 22nd, TWS will begin their ‘2025 TWS TOUR ‘24/7:WITH:US’ IN JAPAN’ with a performance in Hiroshima on July 11th, followed by performances in Aichi (July 13th-15th), Fukuoka (July 17th-18th), Miyagi (July 25th-26th), Osaka (July 28th-30th), and Kanagawa (August 9th-10th) for a total of 13 performances across six cities.
Meanwhile, TWS’s first Japanese single, ‘Nice to see you again,’ is a song that delivers a special excitement in everyday life, like sparkling summer memories, and is filled with TWS’s unique refreshing charm. The single includes the title track of the same name, a Japanese version of ‘plot twist,’ and ‘BLOOM (feat. Ayumu Imazu),’ written and composed by popular artist Ayumu Imazu.
