"Jimmerica Power” — BTS’s Jimin’s ‘Who’ Becomes First K-pop Song to Enter Spotify U.S. All-Time Top 100 Most-Streamed List
BTS’s Jimin has made history on Spotify’s U.S. chart, further solidifying his unrivaled popularity in the American market.
The title track “Who” from Jimin’s second solo album MUSE has entered the Top 100 of Spotify’s all-time most-streamed songs in the United States, ranking at No. 99 — making it the first K-pop song to ever achieve this feat. According to the chart update on July 10, “Who” surpassed a filtered total of 374.22 million streams in the U.S., overtaking hits like Lil Nas X’s “Industry Baby” and J. Cole’s “Wet Dreamz”.
With this achievement, Jimin becomes not only the first but also the only K-pop artist to enter the U.S. Top 100 all-time list. Additionally, he holds the record as the first and only Korean solo artist to surpass over 530 million (filtered) streams on Spotify in the U.S.
Furthermore, Jimin is the only Korean artist to have two songs — “Like Crazy” and “Who” — each with over 100 million streams on the U.S. Spotify chart. Both tracks achieved this milestone without any collaborations with Western artists, highlighting Jimin’s strength as a solo performer and cementing his nickname “Jimmerica” — a fusion of “Jimin” and “America” — as a testament to his extraordinary popularity in the U.S.
