STAYC’s “BEBE” Named One of Billboard’s Best K-Pop Songs of 2025



STAYC has once again proven their evolving musicality and growing global presence by making it onto Billboard’s prestigious list.



Recently, U.S. music magazine Billboard released its list of “The 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2025 (So Far): Critic's Picks,” and STAYC’s “BEBE” was included. Billboard described the track as




“a symbol of growth and transformation into a confident woman,”

adding that

“the sing-rap performance over a house beat acts as a bold declaration of self-worth.”


They also praised the multilingual hook — blending English, Korean, and French — as elevating STAYC’s signature quirky charm, stating,


“STAYC is a group ready to show so much more.”


The title track “BEBE” from their 5th single album ‘S’, released this past March, delivers a strong, self-empowered message about embracing one's true self rather than conforming to others’ expectations. With its funky rhythm, addictive drop, and a dramatic choreography crafted by performance director Kinki, the song amplifies STAYC’s strengths to the fullest.



Since its release, “BEBE” has drawn widespread attention, becoming a major turning point in STAYC’s musical journey — making waves on domestic and global streaming charts and music show stages alike.



Notably, being selected by Billboard is more than just a sign of popularity — it highlights STAYC’s evolution into a performance-oriented group that balances both narrative and style. “BEBE” stands as a representative work showcasing their musical versatility, visual appeal, and performance prowess, building anticipation for the next step in their artistic journey.



On July 23, STAYC released a new special single “I WANT IT,” aiming for a sizzling summer takeover with the concept “Cool attitude, hot sound.” After proving their transformation with “BEBE,” the group is now poised to solidify their position as global summer queens with “I WANT IT.”



Meanwhile, STAYC is set to continue their global tour across North America, Taipei, Singapore, and Hong Kong, heating up the summer for fans around the world.
